Terms of Service

By using LumenCast ("the Service") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

LumenCast is a web application that generates photorealistic nighttime lighting mockups from photos provided by the user, for use by professional installers in client proposals.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information and are responsible for keeping it up to date.

3. Credits and Billing

The Service is paid for using credits. Credits may be purchased as one-time packs, monthly subscriptions, or seasonal passes. One credit is consumed per final-quality render, half a credit per draft-quality render. Failed renders are automatically refunded to your credit balance.

Subscription plans renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from the Manage subscription page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to generate content that is unlawful, infringes on third-party rights, depicts identifiable individuals without consent, or violates any applicable laws. You may not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service.

5. Content

You retain all rights to images you upload and to the renders generated from them. You grant LumenCast a limited license to process, store, and deliver those images solely to provide the Service to you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any image.

6. Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Generated renders are AI-produced approximations and should be presented to clients as such.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LumenCast shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 30 days preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
